What I do

I help women navigate the many complex changes and challenges that occur for them between the ages 45 and 75, a crucial time for women’s health and mental health and their personal development.

In addition to facing major losses and physical life-changes, they often experience profound changes in roles, caring responsibilities, relationships, work, status, life-satisfaction and sense of self.

I help women to reshape their lives, rebuild confidence and self-esteem, redefine who they are and rediscover meaning, purpose and greater life- satisfaction.

What I can help with

  • Few people find it easy to cope with the implications of life-changing health diagnosis or deteriorating conditions. Living with very real and often painful life-limiting symptoms and their consequences can give rise to difficult thoughts and emotions that are hard to share with people close to us.

    I can provide compassionate , sensitive support to accompany you on your health and wellness journey

  • Complex changes and losses often occur in middle and later-life, accompanied by equally complex and stressful thoughts, emotions and reactions. This can include managing the impact of physical changes on our changing roles and responsibilities as well life events such as bereavement, relationship changes or retirement.

    I can support you through these difficult transitions and help you rebuild your life in a meaningful way.

  • Mental and emotional health difficulties in mid-life can have a serious and lasting impact on all aspects of our lives. This is especially true for women; managing anxiety, mood swings, low mood, stress or burnout can be major challenge for many of them. I can help you understand better factors that sustain your difficulties, identify meaningful goals and skills to manage these more effectively to regain control of your life and thrive.

    Please note: not suitable for severe mental health difficulties

  • Many of the changes that happen in later life are obviously, but not exclusively, physical. We may resist those changes, fearful of ageing and illness and of what they might mean for us- losses of role, independence, meaning and purpose.

    This time does not have to be negative. Later-life wellbeing is enhanced by finding ways to acknowledge to losses while discovering new ways to live with wisdom, meaning and purpose- and soul!

    Integrative wellbeing coaching can sensitively support you to embrace your elderhood at this stage of life.

  • Middle & later life can offer opportunities for personal growth and development. This time a way for women, especially, to re-examine their sense of purpose , identity, meaning to create a vision for the next chapter of life.
