Mental Wellbeing

Alongside our physical health, having good mental wellbeing is a key factor for our sense of life satisfaction and personal achievement.

Poor mental wellbeing can affect many areas of our lives but many things in modern day life can affect it. This can lead to difficulties at home, in relationships and at work or college such as:

  • stress and burnout,

  • anxiety and low mood

  • difficulty managing emotions and mood swings,

  • unhelpful habits,

  • poor decision making

  • failure to meet deadlines,

  • organisation and time-management,

  • low self-esteem or confidence

  • underperforming at work or when studying

  • realistic goal setting and planning for the future

Mental wellbeing coaching can be especially beneficial for neurodivergent conditions such as ASD, ADHD, Dyspraxia and Dyslexia to help manage the impact on their mental wellbeing that their conditions causes them.

Managing life change

Much of change in life is inevitable, such as the changes that come with age and life-stage development. Although they may be a part of the natural process of life, not all are welcomed or easy to navigate.

Other changes can unexpected, and largely unwelcome; often sudden, causing shock, pain and hurt, affect our mental health, confidence and self-esteem.

Whatever your situation, I can help you navigate the change process, identify the blocks and barriers preventing you from creating the kind of future you hope for.

Bereavement

Experiencing the death of someone significant in our lives can be a profound and life changing. In many real ways we know that our lives may never be the same again.

The grief we experience after bereavement is deeply personal. It is different for each individual, but not always straightforward. Many things can complicate and prolong our grieving.

Compassionate, timely, professional help- whether our loss happened recently or many years ago. Unresolved grief, especially from a bereavement in childhood, can have a lasting affect on many areas of life.

I have 20 years professional experience helping people, of all ages after devastating loss and offer sensitive, compassionate support.
