Next steps

Step 1

Enquiry

Call or email to book a no-obligation free consultation.

This is a chance to discuss your child or teen’s difficulties, with a brief history, say what has helped so far (if anything) and what your child or teens knows of the enquiry so far

During the call I will either suggest that we progress to Step 2 or I will help you find the right service for your needs.

There is no charge for this 20 minute consultation and it can take place by phone or online via Zoom.

Step 2

Introduction and Assessment

During this step, I will meet with you and your child or teen to introduce myself to them, find out more about their view of their difficulties and work with you both to develop some initial goals for the coaching work.

You may be present for part or all of the session.

This is an opportunity for me to explain to them what mental wellbeing is, what it’s limitations are , assess ways of working that will suit them best and to gain their consent to forward to Step 3.

This session last 60-75 minutes and take place online via Zoom.

The cost for this session is £45

Step 3

Coaching program

Step 3 is where the mental wellbeing coaching takes place.

Depending on the kind of difficulty your child or teen is experiencing it can last for 6 to 10 sessions and involve tasks for them to practice in between sessions. If they are unwilling to do this coaching is unlikely to be successful.

Depending on their age, you may be asked to present for part of the session.

The sessions will last 45 minutes and cost £25. (reductions are available for block bookings)

Weekly sessions are usually advisable but fortnightly sessions can be effective in some cases.

Appointments are available after school, and some availability at weekends.
